2023 Kindergarten Round-Up & Preschool Screening Information
KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP INFORMATION
Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for Monday, April 17th from in the kindergarten classroom.
Kindergarten Round-Up gives you the opportunity make sure your child is ready for kindergarten.
If you have a child that will turn 5 on or before Sept. 15th, 2023 that resides in the Hamburg school district please contact Trisha at 382-2017 before Monday, April 17th to sign them up.
Please bring your child’s current immunization records, birth certificate and social security card.
Our 4-year old preschool students will come to school at their regular time, attend Kindergarten Round-Up at 9a.m., eat lunch at 11a.m. and then, dismissed at 11:30a.m. as usual.
Our 3-year preschool students will not have class. Preschool Screening 1p - 6p.
*** This year’s kindergarten students will NOT have Kindergarten the day of Round-Up!!
PRESCHOOL SCREENING INFORMATION
What: A developmental screening which gives you the opportunity to see if your child is playing, moving, thinking, and talking at his/her age level. Headstart information will also be available.
Where: Marnie Simons Elementary School Preschool Room
Who is it for: Students planning on attending Preschool in the fall. Must be 3 by September 15, 2023 to be in 3-year old class. Must be 4 by September 15, 2023 to be in 4-year old class.
Cost: It’s free for all children
When: Monday, April 17th from 1:00-6:00
Must have an appointment: For an appointment, please send an email to Miss Sydney Fischer (sfischer@hamburgcsd.org) requesting one of the times below:
1:00-1:30, 1:30-2:00, 2:00-2:30, 2:30-3:00, 3:00-3:30,
3:30-4:00, 4:00-4:30, 4:30-5:00, 5:00-5:30
Time slots will be filled in the order they are received.

** If your child is not attending school at Hamburg in the fall, they will not attend preschool that day!
