Hamburg Youth Track Meet

Send Registration to: bmccreary@hamburgcsd.org or mail to Marnie Simons Elementary, Brianna McCreary, 309 S Street, Hamburg, IA 51640. If emailing registration, please bring your entry fee payment to the event and pay at check-in.
Registration: Starts at 8:30 am. You may register the day of the event inside.
Check-In: Starts at 8:30 am. All participants must check-in inside the school to confirm registration.
Field events registration/check-in closes at 9:30 am; Running events registration/check-in closes at 9:45 am
Competition: Field events begin at 10:00 a.m., Running events to follow.
- Participants must be the age stated below on date of track meet in order to participate in the particular age bracket. Participants may enter as many events as they want in their age bracket.
- Deadline and entry fee: $10.00 per participant (not event) and must be accompanied by the entry form below. Please make checks payable to the Hamburg Sports Boosters.
- Awards: Medals will be given to the top 3 places, with ribbons for 4th, 5th, and 6th place in each heat.
- Event Announcements: All events will be announced over the speaker system. There will be a first call and then a final call. Please listen for events to be called and locations to be given.

Order of events: All running events will run by age, youngest to oldest, girls first followed by the boys.
10:00 a.m. field events
4-5 years, 8-9 years, 12 and up-----long jump
3 and under, 6-7 years, 10-11 years ----softball throw
4-5 years, 8-9 years, 12 and up ----softball throw
3 and under, 6-7 years, 10-11 years---long jump
After completion of field events ----running events
800 yard run 100-yard dash Hay Bale Hurdles
50-yard dash 400-yard dash *4x400 for any teams that want to participate
1500 yard run 200-yard dash this will be done day of at check-in.
A concession stand will be available throughout the meet. Awards will be distributed during the meet at the finish line of each heat/race. If the meet is cancelled/postponed it will be posted on the Hamburg CSD website and Hamburg Public Schools Facebook Page. (www.hamburgcsd.org)
