Exploring the Piano at the Elementary
with Mrs. Emberton
Recently Marnie Simons students spent a couple of weeks "exploring the piano." The younger students were able to count the black and white keys, find the notes A - G and even play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" by the end of the 2 weeks. Older students were also able to play a few tunes along with the recorded piano accompaniments, build several major scales using the sharps and flats, and even play a few chords on the keyboards. The music room was crowded and loud (the headphones helped a lot), but we had fun showing off our new keyboard skills. Check it out!
