Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! We dressed to a title of Dr. Seuss each day. Monday was hats for Cat in the Hat. Tuesday was green for Green Eggs and Ham. Wednesday was crazy socks for Fox in Socks. Thursday was vacation shirts for Oh, The Places You'll Go and mustaches for The Lorax. Friday was pajama day for The Sleep Book. Each morning of Dr. Seuss week started with a read aloud by a local celebrity. Our celebrities included Mayor Crain, Mr. Curt Crain, Officer Richardson, Mr. JH Wolf, and Senor Spencer. Friday was extra special with green eggs and ham for breakfast and reading buddies in the gym.
