5th grade went on our annual field trip to Omaha for Spanish on April 17th. We started our day at the International Bakery for a quick treat. We continued to Jacobo's for a scavenger hunt. We enjoyed lunch at Taqueria Tijuana. The students ordered their lunch entirely in Spanish. After lunch, we took in the culture of the area. We took a few minutes to listen to Senor Spencer tell of us about the history found in a mural. We also used our Spanish knowledge and context clues to translate some of environmental print around! Overall, it was a successful day!
