The annual 5th & 6th grade science fair was held in the Hamburg gym on Wednesday, November 7th. 22 students presented their scientific discoveries to three out of the nine judges. Judges were Mrs. Kris Wood, Mrs. Reva Benefiel, Mrs. Kate Stocktell, Mrs. Densie Claiborne, Mrs. Jackie Kuhr, Mrs. Beth Lueth, Mrs. Nancy Buckalow, Mr. JH Wolf, and Mr. John Hall.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the parents for helping with experiments and presentation boards, Miss B and students for fixing the judge's appreciation luncheon, and especially, the judges for taking the time out of their days to judge.
Sophie Durr with "Bread Mold Growth" took first place. Addy Haning with "Which Brand Pops Best?" took second place. Marley Shull with "Does Music Effect Blood Pressure?" took third place. Congratulations, Sophie, Addy, and Marley!
