On Tuesday, April 30th, 5th graders celebrated their Spanish studies by authentically practicing their language skills in South Omaha. They started their adventure at the International Bakery with some tasty treats. In the words of Nathan Stenzel, "Best 75 cents I've ever had!" Then, students walked to Jacobos, a grocery store, for a scavenger hunt. They enjoyed the challenge. When walking to the restaurant, students listened to Senor Spencer tell historic stories that went along with a mural painted along a building. Students finished their adventure with lunch. They studied ordering in Spanish for months and the hard work paid off!
